Photoshoot with Old Navy and Hawaii Inspired

Since starting this blog almost 10 years ago (ya, I’m an OG menswear blogger) I have been able to work with some great brands and been able to do so many things I never thought I would be able to do. I’m sure you’ve noticed I’ve been posting a lot with Old Navy recently. Well, honestly, I think they are a great brand that suits the more casual aspects of this blog: they are affordable, have good fits and a variety of them, and have a lot of classic looks. Since I am on their radar they asked me and my family to be in their Summer social photo shoot. So a few weeks ago we headed up to LA for a few days and did the shoot. It was the first time our son had been on set, and he did great, but it was exhausting! Babies make things so much harder. Here are some behind the scenes shots….

If you follow @OldNavy on Instagram you will start seeing our photos pop up throughout May and June. So definitely check that out. I’ll probably share more here as well. But in the mean time I wanted to share a regular outfit post. Naturally it is all Old Navy.

If you noticed the subtleties of some of my posts you may realize that I really wish I lived in Hawaii. I’ve only been there once, but it was amazing. My wife and I are trying to get back there to visit but other things keep popping up that hinder the trip. Well, if I was in Hawaii this is the exact kind of outfit I would wear. Lightweight pants, a short sleeve floral shirt, lace ups, and a straw hat. I never wore a straw hat before going to Hawaii the first time, but it rains then stops so often that a hat made perfect sense.

This post is in partnership with Old Navy.
